OBN today delivered two more loads of old, unwanted home medication for safe disposal at Covanta Energy in Tulsa. This shipment was just over one ton. Since 2011, OBN has collected more than 74,000 pounds of drugs from 174 OBN Disposal Containers in police and sheriff’s lobbies, statewide. Covanta Energy incinerates the drugs and converts the waste material into clean energy at no cost to OBN or the State of Oklahoma.
